Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Quantize is built to need as little of your data as possible — especially given that photos can be personal.

1. What happens to the images you process

Every image you drop in is read directly into your browser's memory and processed there using your browser's built-in canvas — resizing, compressing, converting, and zipping all happen locally. None of it is ever transmitted, uploaded, or stored on a server. Closing the tab discards everything instantly.

2. Cookies and analytics

Quantize uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic patterns — which pages get visited and roughly how many people use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. It has no access to your photos or anything you process, since none of that ever leaves your browser in the first place. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide using Google's browser add-on, or block it with most ad-blocking extensions. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google Analytics handles data.

3. Accounts and data storage

There is no account system. We don't store your images, filenames, or any identifying information, because none of it is ever sent to us in the first place.

4. Children's privacy

Quantize is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect information from anyone, of any age, since no personal information is collected at all.

5. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes — like adding analytics or data collection — will be described plainly here.
